Fitness Regimen: Week Three, Day 16: Belly Breathing for Energy

Trying a breathing exercise from Jorge Cruise's "8 Minutes in the Morning" today . . .

Cruise's Instructions:

1. Stand up straight with your shoulders pulled back and your chest pushed out.

2. Inhale through your nose for a count of 4 (make sure that your belly comes out), and hold for a count of 2.

3. Exhale through your mouth for a count of 5 (make sure that your belly contracts by coming inward).

4. Repeat for a total of 10 deep breaths.

Today's Exercises:
* 4 sets of 15 Standing Kickbacks with 15 lb. weights
* 4 sets of 15 One-Arm Curls with 15 lb. weights
* Music: "More Human Than Human" (White Zombie), "Walk" (Pantera), "F***ing Hostile" (Pantera)
